Stunning Violet and Gold Fall Wedding at Hayes Hollow
This is the second pair of high school sweethearts to hit my blog this month. Meet Katelyn and Zach! They met during band practice way back when and (according to them) their wedding has been a long time coming. Now that high school and college days have come and gone, Katelyn is now an interior designer. For this reason, she definitely had ideas about how her wedding would look and I have a feeling those ideas have been building up for a few years, now.
Katelyn chose a bold signature color and it was infused into every moment of their wedding day. From their invitations to her STUNNING bouquet and bridesmaids dresses – the amethyst color palette set the tone for their wedding. The beautiful outdoor ceremony arch was set in front of the venueʼs waterfall accented by hand-placed roses. Just before walking down the aisle, Katelyn and Zach shared a private moment where they exchanged personal notes and gifts. Then as Katelynʼs dad walked her down the aisle, her smile absolutely filled the ceremony with joy. As these two, who have known each other for most of their lives, pledged to spend the rest of it together, their families.
Love Is All You Need
Later, their reception was completely decked out in the mauve and violet roses, with coordinating uplighting that REALLY set the tone. But the centerpiece was definitely the custom neon sign (in purple, of course) with their wedding day mantra – “Love is All You Need” that hung behind the dessert bar, which of course, was also all done in coordinating (and delicious looking) colors.
Congratulations, Katelyn and Zach! Iʼm looking forward to following along with you for the next 10 years and beyond.
